The PetroOps Foundation sponsored “Steak Night” for The Citadel Football Association in 2023, providing resources to nourish over 150 students, players, and coaches.
The “Steak Night” Program is in its 39th straight year. Steak Night is held on Monday nights and starts at 6:00 p.m. This program provides steaks and other select entrees to the entire football team and its support staff every week throughout the season. The program has been beneficial for the players not only from a weight retention aspect, but also from a morale point of view as they eat great meals each week with Citadel Alumni and friends who support this beneficial program. The players greatly appreciate this program and look forward to meeting the sponsors each week.
